Pardons for sale

The worst thing about Trump pardons is the string of fraudsters he has pardoned allowing them to escape paying a cent of restitution their estates were being liquidated to pay.

Billions of dollars so far stolen from every day Americans, many of whom are devastated because the restitution money was needed that the pardoned criminal now gets to keep.

It's a great deal for Trump and the other fraudster though because if you owe restitution you just offer Trump family a deal at a lower amount and he will cut that deal every time.

Sadly correct. tRump fancies himself a mafia don but a real one would laugh all the way down to the pier to fit him with some "new shoes".
 
I said it before this Trump second term started.

Historically if you America and Country X negotiating some deal where each side was exchanging multi billions in value in hard fought negotiations, the better path would be to get a lobbyist to the Trump family and offer them a number personally to have the US side drop their price by multi billions.

Trump would, without a seconds hesitation give up hundred of billions of value into the government coffers for a direct payment to his family of millions.

That is what he is doing with these pardons but instead of screwing the US as a country, he is screwing the victims of the fraudsters who are in the process of seeking restitution.

The fraudster says 'ok i am being liquidated to give back billions to those i defrauded... someone get a lobbyist to Trump and offer his family directly a few 10's of millions for a pardon', and then Trump does it.

Very different.

Trump, himself, admits he does not even know who he is pardoning. These are being brokered by his sons and other key 'contacts' who are lobbied (paid) millions of dollars and then they go to Trump who signs the pardon without knowing a thing about who is pardoning or what they did. All he cares about is the payment was made.

This is far worse than any autopen use by Trump or Biden in their terms. This is auto-pardon via bribery.

The Clintons were corrupt, but knew where the lines were drawn. Trump ignores the lines.

The Rich pardon was badly received by the Dems. It looked bad. The Reds do not care what Trump does, says, or who he pardons. It is Trump doing it. That makes it right. There is little that Trump does that the Right would not be screaming about if a Dem was doing them
Do you understand that a bad pardon by a Dem does not make hundreds of much worse pardons by Trump acceptable? Logic and balance escape you.
