the republicans in control did nothing to stop it

they in fact took money from states to be able to battle it

Obama was President in 2016. Russians are a foreign affairs matter. What did he do to "stop it"?

Polls never amount to much really. You can find em to meet most conclusions, as they pick who they ask in many a case. I think I remember a poll about favorability of a new bridge back in Detroit. If you noticed the very fine print, it was sponsored by what would be the bridges competition. It might have just been an ad though, and not a poll.

In fact, they amount to much. But they are not infallible.
