Paul 'No Bump' Ryan...

Back to IA with your stupidity. I have provided evidence that he has indeed gotten a bounce in the swing states. You are the only one lying... therefore, you no longer matter.

I understand that my posts are a reality check for you and that dealing with reality makes you unhappy, but reality is hard for someone like you. When you are ready to deal with reality, just take me off of IA and you will be welcome back to the real world.

They are all posted on the other thread on 'Obama in trouble', but you can find them here...

How is everybody getting it wrong?

As I stated, it is the polls in the swing states that I am referring to... not the national polls.

As for the national polls, Gallup shows the first poll after the Biden selection saw a decrease of 2%, the first after the Ryan selection saw a 1% increase.

So Paul Ryan created absolutly no movement in the polls...

Whatsup? This is the first time in my memory this has not happened.

Any thoughts?

I don't know what your expectations were, or if you've been tracking political discourse of late, but...

When you have 48% of the country absolutely refusing to listen to any reason, abandoning all rationality, refusing to even acknowledge the literal facts of reality, going so far as to actually 're-create' the English language, and defiantly determined to vote for Obama regardless of what he does... there isn't going to be much movement in polls. Half the country wouldn't care if this man murdered his family in cold blood, they would still line up to vote for him. The GOP could have nominated God himself, and there would have been no movement in the polls.

So that's what we now have... A party that is determined and committed to voting for Obama in lockstep, REGARDLESS. Facts don't matter, reality doesn't matter, truth doesn't matter, and it certainly doesn't matter who the Republicans put on their ticket. Obama could announce that he plans to murder all his political enemies and install himself as supreme dictator, repealing the Constitution, and the fucker would probably get a bump in the polls from enthusiastic pinheads who cheer him on! That's how FUCKED you people have become!

It must be frustrating to be you!

In the four days leading up to the announcement, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee had the support of about 46 percent of the registered voters.

Over the following four days, that figure crept up only one tick to 47 percent...

In years past, presidential candidates have received more significant bumps after announcing their running mates: Al Gore lept up by 5 points in 2000, and Bob Dole by 9 in 1996, for instance.

That trend didn't hold in the last election cycle, however, with John McCain gaining a more modest two-point bump immediately after naming Sarah Palin as his running mate...
