If I were into eating the cracker, which I haven't done since I was a young boy,
I don't think that some idiot bishop shooting off his mouth would stop me from doing it.

What we really should talk about is why anybody with the extensive academic credentials of a Catholic Bishop
would say something so profoundly stupid.

^ I couldn't agree more. Their priorities are seriously screwed up. The church is bleeding members and stupid stuff like this isn't going to stop it.

How does one do that? You understand that every registered Catholic, who is also a practicing Democrat, is in serious violation for their advocacy of progressive communion (abortion).

Unlike tRump who has a wrap sheet the size of his arm when it comes to being a pedophile and even against his own daughter to which President Biden was never a pedophile but a man of virtues and care for all of his kids and the civilized and decent part of society. I suppose the sacrilegious and un Godly priests as a disgrace to the Catholic dioceses prefer to associate with them who they can relate to as in fellow pedophiles and other sexual deviant creatures, and to which the Catholic dioceses up to current times have paid out billions of dollars in court settlements when it comes to the culture of pedophilia within the so-called Catholic church, in particular, raping alter boys and other ghastly natures of sodomy that has corrupted the Catholic culture.

Your allegation that "every Catholic who is a registered Democrat is in serious violation, etc." is false logic. Religion and politics are supposed to be kept separate. Not every registered Dem is pro-choice anymore than every repub is anti-abortion. You should talk to your priest about this sweeping generalization. You're very judgmental about one particular issue and completely ignore all the others.

Um, no, they are not supposed to be kept separate. At all. That is not a teaching of the Church. You are responsible to God and to the Church in all areas of your life. Yeah, I think Bob Casey is one of those Dems you speak of who adheres to Church doctrine on abortion. Polls indicate that ~10% of Dems still self-identity as conservative. That might be fewer than identify as non-binary.
