Pelosi Fears Violence

You're making my point. The guy was anything but a liberal, and you have to be a certain level of crazy to believe he's a leftist.
You're FOS. Does this sound like a Conservative?
1. The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in "advanced" countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the situation. It will certainly subject human beings to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering—even in "advanced" countries.

Puh-lease. There's non comparison. If we get another Oklahoma, Fox is going to be in a world of hurt.

So Pelosi fears Democrat on Democrat crime, perhaps justified with their head bashing, finger biting ways:

...It wasn’t political debate that drove Dan White to commit murder. He was a lunatic. At his trial, White tried to evade responsibility for his acts in part through arguing that he had a diminished capacity caused in part by his diet, which led to it being ridiculed as “the Twinkie defense.” White only got sentenced to a short term in prison, which was a grave injustice. He should have gotten two life terms for the murders, which was a good argument for a better approach in California to law and order.

Milk and Moscone’s murder has nothing to do with political debate, and no one other than White was responsible for the murders. Pelosi wants to silence opposition since she cannot outargue it, and her implied references to the murders of Milk and Moscone as somehow comparable to political opposition to the Obama administration is flat-out despicable.

Update: It’s also worth pointing out that Dan White was not a right-wing politician; he was a registered Democrat and considered a moderate. He assassinated Moscone after the mayor refused to reappoint him as supervisor, a post White had resigned but then regretted leaving. He shot Milk five times on the way out of City Hall after personal animosity between the two had erupted earlier over a zoning dispute....

gramps your writing checks you cant cash. Are you man enough, or a pencil pushing desk warrior like most conservitards. Let somebody else fight the war.

I'm not going to let you get any credibility by getting into an argument you already lost months ago. Read the guy's manifesto if you have any doubt.

you're both fucking wrong. if anything, he was a complete isolationist which doesn't encompass left, right, or even middle. you could probably give him a whole other dimension and it still wouldn't fit his idiotology.

I've read parts of it. The guy's a loonie; white is black and black is white. The fact is that he hated corporations and was a whacked out enviro-nut. In other words: liberal, like you.

I'm open to listening but please explain how there's no comparison to calling for death to the President other than to hacks on one side who support it and hacks on the other don't?

Four times as many death threats. And calls for violent overthrow of the American government. No comparison.

You must have a reading problem since you missed the 99 percent of the manifesto he spent railing against government.

his education smacks of liberalism

Kaczynski graduated from Harvard in 1962 and subsequently attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a PhD in mathematics. Kaczynski's specialty was a branch of complex analysis known as geometric function theory. He earned his PhD with his thesis entitled "Boundary Functions" by solving, in less than a year, a math problem that was unsolved by one of his professors at Michigan, George Piranian, who later commented on Kaczynski by saying, "It is not enough to say he was smart." Maxwell Reade, a retired math professor who served on Kaczynski's dissertation committee, also commented on his thesis by noting, "I would guess that maybe 10 or 12 men in the country understood or appreciated it." In 1967, Kaczynski won the University of Michigan's $100 Sumner B. Myers Prize, which recognized his dissertation as the school's best in mathematics that year. While a graduate student at Michigan, he held a National Science Foundation fellowship and taught undergraduates for three years. He also published two articles related to his dissertation in mathematical journals, and four more after leaving Michigan later.

Kaczynski became an assistant professor of mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley in Fall 1967, teaching undergraduate courses in geometry and calculus. He was also noted as the youngest professor ever hired by the university. This was short-lived however, as Kaczynski received numerous complaints and low ratings from the undergraduates he taught. Many students noted that he seemed quite uncomfortable in a teaching environment, often stuttering and mumbling during lectures, becoming excessively nervous in front of a classroom, and ignoring students during designated office hours. He resigned from his position without explanation in 1969 at age 26. The chairman of the mathematics department, J. W. Addison, called this a "sudden and unexpected" resignation, while vice chairman Calvin Moore said that given Kaczynski's "impressive" thesis and record of publications, "he could have advanced up the ranks and been a senior member of the faculty today."

You know what's so ironic is how you idiots come on this thread arguing about how all the violence comes from the left, while on another thread...

GOP fears Pelosi - Just Plain Politics!

...STY immediately jumps on the opportunity to threaten Pelosi with violence if she tries to "be tough."

You guys are such a joke.

I see you easily miss the finer points of english. I said 'if she gets tough', meaning if they come after us with JBTs and guns, we will not surrender. we will not disarm. we will not be intimidated. violence against us will be met with violence.
