Two weeks ago we didn't have the transcripts of the phone call that generated an impeachment inquiry. There was no increased sympathy for Trump because Congress did not bring impeachment talk based on anything he did before the letter was released. The only increased anger I see is among those who already opposed him. His supporters are proving his statement correct that if he shot somebody on Park Avenue they would still defend him. But this latest action has caused Congress to act (or pretend to--I think they have a two-week recess).

Exactly. Both Democratic and Republican presidents engage in such activities. You finally understand but fail to acknowledge. Impeachment is the same when it is because of presidential wrong doing. Your partisanship always leads you to claim the Republican action was worse (although Trump has not been impeached and Clinton was).

I guess Pence being involved is not enough for you to predict he will be impeached or even have proceedings against him. You must not be that certain he committed any illegal activities.
