Sure it did, in fact, it was all about the Big Lie, Pence wouldn’t stop the count, “do the right thing,” because he didn’t feel the Constitution gave him that power given there existed credible no proof of the Big Lie other than Trump innuendo

I will admit the truth. Pence aided and abetted in the stealing of the 2020 election. He stabbed Trump in the back after all Trump had done for him, prompting many to cut "Pence" out of signs.

Trump did not think that he had any chance of winning but he wanted a known name next to him on the ballot to give his candidacy gravitas..... Pence had failed out of Indiana politics and was unemployable at the normal DC places failed state politicians go for reasons I forget.....so they hooked up.
 
Pences problem with the Swamp had something to do with a record of refusing to follow advice and instructions....I no longer remember the specific matters.

In many ways Pence and Manafort hitching to the Trump wagon is the same story.

Pence broke the law, anchovies. He never had authority to choose electors for any State.

Makes sense. I even let out an audible groan at the moment that I saw Rubio was selected for the SoS position in Trump 2.0 ... Another data point to remember is that there wasn't even any kabuki theater in the Senate to get Rubio into that position (he was confirmed by the Senate 99-0). Hmmmmmm.

I wholly expected Rubio to be a hindrance to the Trump 2.0 agenda, but so-far he has pleasantly surprised me. I’d even say that he’s high up on the “best cabinet member” list. Numerous signs pointed towards him being a disappointment, but he’s surprisingly done a very good job thus far. I’m quite impressed.

With that said, his past anti-Trump/MAGA actions are not forgotten and he will continue to be closely watched with a suspicious eye.

This is something that Vance has above the others (especially Rubio). Vance hasn't betrayed the MAGA agenda while in office. Granted, he hasn't had much time to do so, but the truth remains that he hasn't done so as of yet.

I do remain leery of the story of how Vance rose to his current prominence. While quite impressive in a number of ways, it's also eerily similar to Obama's story in a number of other ways. Let's just say that my ears perk up whenever Vance has anything to say about Palantir or any "big tech" related stuff (the "Peter Thiel" connection). So far so good, though. :)

Agreed. Trump and Vance have been a great 1-2 combo. Trump is brilliant when it comes to the "brain" stuff (the "wheeling and dealing"), but he's not the smoothest communicator by any means (which is not necessarily a bad thing, as "too smooth" (think Obama) really rubs me the wrong way, but Trump's definitely rough around the edges at times when it comes to explaining precisely why his brilliance is so brilliant). Vance, on the other hand, is "smoother" and more effective at communicating the greatness of the MAGA agenda. Stephen Miller is also a really good communicator in that regard.

Another way to look at it is we know where his bread was buttered. Today, we hope that Rubio sees his bread being buttered much better by the MAGA consituency than the immigrant community (both legal and otherwise). If we listen to Rubio speak, he toes the MAGA party line of "illegal entry is breaking the law." He hasn't opposed a single deportation.

Also, since we are being fair, we need to give credit to Rubio for demonstrating, as Secretary of State, that he can act on behalf of the President. He negotiates with world leaders and he gets on camera to get out his message. We measure Vance by how well he can step in for the President and by his potential to act as President if need be, and if we apply that same standard to Rubio, I have to give credit where it is due, that he too has demonstrated those qualities. In 2028, when Rubio and Vance are squaring off for the nomination, listing their accomplishments and trying to poke holes in the other, the only thing for which I will be listening is faithfulness to MAGA and to We the People.

All of the above applies to Tulsi as well. I fully expect Tulsi to give her (now tired) standard spiel of "I am a woman of color who stands by my brothers and sisters in uniform." I get it, really I do, but Tulsi, PLEASE add something new to the narrative! I don't believe Tulsi will have any assassination opportunities like she had with Kamala (Classic!) In fact, let's look at that again, it never gets old....


My point is that I don't think she's going to have any such opportunities with the Republican party.

I have to say, you are being very generous to Vance. I don't recall him ever coming to prominence until Trump picked him for VP. He was pretty much a nobody but Trump felt that Vance would be faithful to We the People and to MAGA.
