But Tucker says those guys screaming “Hang Mike Pence” we’re just joking.
I guess Pence and his family do not have a good sense of humor. That is so funny.

What a loser.
He is going nowhere.....Americans have had enough of useless guys like this.
Fuck Pence.“President Trump was wrong," Pence said during remarks at the annual white-tie Gridiron Dinner attended by politicians and journalists. "I had no right to overturn the election. And his reckless words endangered my family and everyone at the Capitol that day, and I know history will hold Donald Trump accountable.”

The entire world is lucky.I agree , we are lucky we are through with trump.
And he still won't testify against his man crush.
Conventional wisdom says you are correct, but I see one glaring difference this time around.Remember. Trump claimed he chose 'only the best people.'
But now he has parted ways with Pence because Pence would not help him steal an election that he lost.
So either Trump was wrong when he chose Pence or he was wrong in his 2020 election Big Lie.
Either way, Trump is wrong.
Wrong for America.
I am a liberal and I am telling you Trump was wrong.
So now you should go vote for him in the primary so he can take the nomination and then lose to President Biden once again in the general.
Republicans do struggle with learning lessons and repeating mistakes.
The '24 election appears to be shaping up nicely.
All those Republican candidates trying to take the party back from extremists, all those determined extremists, ready to bring Trump back.
What's going to happen is the good Republican votes will be diluted by the many, and Trump is the only one with a strong base (even if it is a cult of conspiracy theorists.) That is going to end up with Trump winning the nomination. That is going to turn off the many who refuse to vote for Trump again. Having Trump on the ticket is going to bring out the many who will vote for anyone to prevent Trump, and they will vote for Biden.
President Biden wins second term. Trump goes down as big crybaby who cannot accept loss, once again going with another Big Lie, not learning his lesson.

The entire field in '16 was caught off guard when trump ran a campaign like some pre pubescent schoolboy. They couldn't believe the childish comments and behavior. The nation viewed him as a joke.
With all of trump's crimes in the news, coupled with his myriad shortcomings, it should be easy for the field to make him cry when challenged.
His schtick only worked the first time. It shouldn't work again. Remember...trump didn't have to face a primary in '20
This is going to be comedy gold
Just about no one on the right talks about Pence that I see, he is a non factor.....it is the Mind Molders who keep yakking him up.
https://www.americanthinker.com/blo...maining_goodwill_among_maga_republicans_.htmlThere are a few possibilities here.
Perhaps Pence and his advisers are delusional.
Perhaps Pence is delusional, and his advisers are merely looking to make some easy money before Pence disappears into the night.
The most likely possibility is that Pence knows he has no chance with MAGA voters, who decide the nominee during primaries, but will run anyway in order to add "former presidential candidate" before his name.
That title will enable him to hike his speaking fees and get a better book or podcast or other media deal.
It also keeps him relevant; the media will give him prime-time slots to fling mud at Trump.
Prior to Trump, Republicans such as Pence had an important role in D.C.
They were pro-life, pro-marriage, and anti-abortion, which earned them conservatives votes, but when it came to other issues such as big government, open borders, and wars abroad, they sided with the Democrats.
And of course, they were expected to be gracious losers, such as Romney and McCain.
For issues that really mattered, there was not much difference among the Bushes, Clinton, and Obama.
It's hard to say if Pence is a useful idiot for the Democrats or if he was an establishment Republican pretending to be a MAGA Republican.

In the days leading up to Jan. 6, 2021, Trump pressured Pence to overturn Joe Biden's election victory as he presided over the ceremonial certification of the results. Pence refused, and when rioters stormed the Capitol, some chanted that they wanted to “hang Mike Pence.”
The House committee that investigated the attack said in its final report that “the President of the United States had riled up a mob that hunted his own Vice President."
With his remarks, Pence solidified his place in a broader debate within the Republican Party over how to view the attack.
“Make no mistake about it, what happened that day was a disgrace," Pence said in his Gridiron Dinner remarks. "And it mocks decency to portray it any other way.”
Trump, meanwhile, has continued to spread lies about his election loss. He's even spoken in support of the rioters and said he would consider pardoning them if he was reelected.“Make no mistake about it, what happened that day was a disgrace," Pence said in his Gridiron Dinner remarks.
