By societies standards, they are indeed failures. The part that delusional and irrational people choose to ignore is that if a group of those 'failures' with like minds for that propensity of violent brutality ever got together for a common purpose, the carnage could be catastrophic. So my original point had to do with what would you do, or think, if a dozen or more hyper violent people were to organize and enact a wave of violence?

Violent failures get together all the time, which is why violent failures are so often the victim of crimes. People who lack the ability to organize themselves do even worse in groups.
