Petulant Childish Righties

Maybe you could try to put into words what the problem is with having the vote when it was held.

I already did. But like a good little hack, you ignored them.

Bottom line, there was NO reason for it to be done on the weekend. None. The main benefits do not even take effect for four fucking years.

So why the Sunday vote? Because they know the public does not pay as much attention to the news cycle on the weekends as they do during the week.

This just shows they were in a rush to try to pass this before anyone could change their minds or object to the latest back door deals that occurred. (like say a Presidential order being signed)

They did it because they didn't want any time to pass for any potential backlash over said deals to change the minds of those wavering.

I know you will continue to apologize for your masters, it is all you know how to do. But the rest of the populace understands exactly why they held the vote on a Sunday rather than waiting until a normal business day.

You're such a tool. Seriously. That's the weakest argument I've seen in a long, long time. It's laughable, man. HA!

By the way, here's a chart of cable news ratings for Sunday:

It looks like the plan to hide from the public didn't really work. I guess announcing on Wednesday that the vote was scheduled for Sunday wasn't a great idea.

It's easy to show a spike last Sunday night as most people were watching March Madness all day Sunday, not watching cable news. (unless you listen to Colin Cowherd who claimed ratings showed several large cities with low viewership)

Waitaminute!

Doesn't that graph show that there's a gigantic HOLE in the middle of SuperFreaky's little theory?

I mean, I know from personal history that when I went to find the debate and vote on HCR on TV, why, I could only find SEVEN OR EIGHT CHANNELS carrying the thing, and how can anyone find out anything when there's only SEVEN OR EIGHT CHANNELS COVERING SOMETHING?

wow, you found a chart that compared one weekend to another. Which does nothing to show how that Sunday at 11:00pm vote would compare with say... Monday-Friday during the day.

All you show is that there was a spike compared to the previous weekend. So did it go from 30 viewers up to 180?

what a fucking hack you are. You know as well as I do that the news media viewership is greater during the week.

You're such a tool. Seriously. That's the weakest argument I've seen in a long, long time. It's laughable, man. HA!

you are such an apologist. You know that is EXACTLY why they held the vote on a Sunday night. Or are you suggesting our politicians are known for working through the weekends?

Please hack... keep on apologizing for your masters. One day maybe they will let you pull your head out of their collective asses so that you can get a quick breath of fresh air. Until then keep eating the crap they are feeding you. You seem to like it well enough.

So your position is that more people watch the news Monday-Friday during the day, than watched last Sunday? Really? Want to think that one over for a while and get back to me? Just an FYI, during the 11:00 hour on Sunday night the CNN had 3.3 million viewers, FNC followed with 2.369 viewed and MSNBC had 1.498 viewers.

In any event, the idea that the vote was purposely scheduled for Sunday to prevent the public from knowing about it is so fucking stupid that I should have expected it from you.

You're really losing it. The idea that someone could be so upset that Congress voted on something on a Sunday blows my fucking mind. I don't get it at all.

I think you ought to stop listening to talk radio. They're paid to be perpetually outraged and it's a front. You don't seem to understand that.

right... you have NO plausible explanation for why they decided to come in and work the weekend when they could simply have passed the bill during the business week.

Also, it was not done to 'prevent the public from knowing about it'. I never stated that. I stated it is because the public doesn't pay as much attention to the media cycle on a Sunday night as they do during the week. I know you enjoy your straw man building, but seriously do try to pull your head out of your masters ass at some point in your life.

ah yes, another feeble straw man attempt. When in doubt... proclaim that I am 'listening to talk radio' or some such nonsense. I do not listen to talk radio, I do not watch Fox news, I do watch the lefts idiots on MSNBC.

As I stated before, I know you don't get it. Your masters told you it was normal to hold votes late on a Sunday night. You accepted what they fed you, just like the good little hack that you are.

right... you have NO plausible explanation for why they decided to come in and work the weekend when they could simply have passed the bill during the business week.

I already told you why the vote was held on Sunday. That was the first opportunity according to the 72 hour rule and there was no good reason to delay it.

And by the way, what House procedures were used to cram the law down the throat of Americans? You haven't answered that one yet.

You really should see a Doctor, that is one nasty, HACKing cough you've developed lately.

So, "the public doesn't pay as much attention to the media cycle on a Sunday night" isn't the same as "prevent the public from knowing about it"?

REALLY?!? You sticking with that one?

Commence justification...

yes, I most certainly stated that the two are not the same. Please do tell us how it is you feel they are the same. One suggests they 'don't know about it' the other suggests 'they don't pay as much attention on the weekends as they do during the week'. Please oh wise one... show us how they are the same.

Time and again it has been pointed out to you that the 'other' nations are NOT the US.

And France isn’t Germany. And Holland isn’t Cuba.

Universal medical has been shown to work across the board. No exceptions. Not one.

Land size. Population. Wealth. Form of government…….It doesn’t matter. It works everywhere. It’s been proven everywhere. No exceptions.

It has also been pointed out to you time and again that most of those countries are facing mounting UNFUNDED liabilities due to the aging of the population and the decline in average family size.

And adjustments will be made. The average country spends half of what the US spends, per capita. Imagine if they doubled their budget and spent the equivalent of the US. Twice as many doctors and nurses and hospitals and …..

Countries with government medical have been belly-aching for years and years and years, however, the citizens have benefited for 30 or 40 or 50 years. Not bad for something that doesn’t work.

I have stated time and again HOW to address the COSTS.

The costs can be addressed by having a universal plan but we all know who’s stopping that. However, as time passes a universal plan will be brought into force because not one country with a universal plan ever reverted to the archaic “pay or suffer” system. Not one.

Once the citizens actually see the benefits, live them, experience them, there will be a rush to have a universal plan. No wonder the Repubs are panicking. As soon as the citizens find out the truth a lot of the bozos will be out of a job.

How do I know? I know because not one country on the entire planet ever reverted to the "pay or suffer" system and every country started out with one. Once the people see the benefits the Repub party will be standing in the unemployment line.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Please tell me how it is a strawman? It IS 1/6 of the economy.

Yes, I mispoke, they were against THIS health care reform bill.... the one we are talking about. For reform in general the public does support the necessity to get costs under control. Which is why they don't like this bullshit bill the Dems just passed. Because it does nothing to address costs.

My facts are straight. The public wants reforms that will get the ever increasing COSTS under control. This bill ADDS to the national deficit AND does nothing to address the COSTS.

Time and again it has been pointed out to you that the 'other' nations are NOT the US. They have different demographic make ups. I have asked time and again for you and others to answer the simple question. Is there efficiency in scale within health care?

It has also been pointed out to you time and again that most of those countries are facing mounting UNFUNDED liabilities due to the aging of the population and the decline in average family size. But you, like the other brain dead morons continue to ignore that.

I have stated time and again HOW to address the COSTS. For you to suggest I don't 'care' is nothing more than a feeble attempt to deflect the conversation. The fact that I am so against this bill shows that I care about the costs. The fact that I continue to point out this bill does nothing to lower costs and in fact will likely see them increase seems to be lost on you.

If you want the 30 million covered, you make the coverage more AFFORDABLE. You don't simply try to force people to buy insurance. Nor do you force people to pay for OTHER peoples insurance. That doesn't solve a fucking thing.

But please, do continue on in your blissful role of a good little lemming/parrot/apologist for your precious messiah. It is apparently all you are good for.

It doesn't work if your form of government doesn't permit it. Ours is the only government based on Lockean Natural Rights, which alone is what has made it the best so far.

First you said:

And a public that doesn't pay as much attention is a less informed public...

They did it because they didn't want any time to pass for any potential backlash over said deals to change the minds of those wavering.

But the rest of the populace understands exactly why they held the vote on a Sunday rather than waiting until a normal business day.

But that sure sounds like you are saying they don't want the public to know about the vote...

Also, it was not done to 'prevent the public from knowing about it'. I never stated that. I stated it is because the public doesn't pay as much attention to the media cycle on a Sunday night as they do during the week.

Like I said earlier... a public that doesn't pay as much attention is a less informed public...hence you are implying that is the reason they held the vote on Sunday...so fewer people might know

There you go...I know you will continue to deny everything but hey, at least everyone can see the cute little semantic word games you are trying to play.
