They tried to "walk a line" and tell you that vaccine success that associated to Trump would be "bad" in some way, and folks really did accept that. They downplayed the success and tried to pretend that the FDA would approve the vaccine without a basis in science so that Trump would have political points. It was disgusting really. And now they are left holding a bag full of their nonsense.

Every one of the six companies testing vaccines currently were taking advantage of Warp Speed, it cut the red tape and allowed them to move forward far faster than ever possible before the program. What normally takes years was cut down to less than a year without cutting corners and we will benefit from it. Trump's work to get a vaccine as quickly as possible paid off for us. Even if you don't like Trump.
I believe you are badly mischaracterizing the attitude regarding a vaccine developed under Trump. The concern was that Trump was ignoring the science in a rush to get a vaccine approved before election day. Trump plays politics with peoples lives. Biden does not. It's that simple. Pretend? Trump was pressuring the FDA to approve a vaccine, and even suggested he would step in and overrule them. So there is nothing 'pretend' about that concern. It was real.

Pfizer announced in July a $1.95 billion agreement with the U.S. government for 100 million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
Time will tell. Even if Biden does make a comment about his participation, is there any doubt Trump will be Tweeting his ass off taking full credit as usual?

Every single company testing now were beneficiaries of Warp Speed. They cut the red tape that normally would require years to obtain a vaccine and made it possible to begin stage three testing within one year. Pretending that this isn't an achievement is just partisan blather and beneath anybody with a brain cell.

Again, cutting the red tape, a large part of the Warp Speed thing there, was absolutely part of what made testing for Pfizer possible, even without federal grant money. You need to stop selectively remembering. Without that it would have taken over a year before testing of a vaccine could reach even close to this point.
