This is actually a good question and I think even sir Nigel should think about it. Why do you support the royals?

If I were to broadly generalize things I would say conservatives support the monarchy as they find value to the institution whereas liberals don't and would be ok abolishing it.

But the royals lately even the good ones like William are pandering to the left with climate change and even this racism crap. The royals think they have guaranteed support from the right so must appease the left but by doing so you on the right are essentially supporting an institution whose power is now being wielded against you.

So again the question why do you support the royals? What is your side getting out of it?

Well for one it would be very difficult to avoid selling off the money making properties to private interests who would keep the profits instead of putting them in the national treasury.
