Pilot who ranted about Jesus 'not guilty'

Then why'd you say this?

Because he was removed from the plane for his erratic behavior, which included his rants. And he was diagnosed as incompetent to stand trial due to mental illness or mental defect. The behavior was uncharacteristic for him. So it was a symptom of his illness.

How do you know the behavior was uncharacteristic for him?

What illness was his ranting about Jesus a symptom of?

Jet Blue wouldn't have kept him as a pilot if his bizarre behavior were typical.

I don't know what illness it is a symptom of. I am not, as I have said, a psychologist.

Cite the source for your assertion.

But you posted this:

I know that his behavior had him locked out of the cockpit, restrained and arrested. If he had done that before he would not be flying a commercial airliner.

Since his rants were the reason he was arrested, and the court appointed psychologist found him not responsible because of mental illness or mental defect, it is obvious that his rants were a symptom.

What you asked was what illness it is a symptom of. Knowing it is a symptom of someone who has been declared mentally ill and knowing the exact illness are two very different things.

Once again, you are more focused on antagonizing me than on discussing the topic.

Yet you declared his ranting was a symptom of his illness. What illness?

You're antagonized?

When have I been "more focused on antagonizing...than on discussing the topic" in the past?

The mental illness or mental defect that the psychologist diagnosed. You would have to ask them what specific illness.

So when you specified "his illness", you didn't know what you were talking about?

Are you antagonized?

His behavior was bizarre. Whether the rants about Jesus are bizarre you would have to ask a professional.

I'm asking you. You said his behavior was bizarre. He ranted about Jesus. Is that bizarre?

And I am referring you to a professional for the answer. Obviously his overall behavior was bizarre. The co-pilot locked the pilot out of the cockpit and asked that he be restrained. I don't think they would have done that if he were acting normal.

So you admit that his bizarre ranting about Jesus was abnormal?

You keep trying to narrow this down to the rants about Jesus. Why? I have said repeatedly that his behavior was bizarre. Why do you insist on it being about the Jesus rants?

Did his bizarre behavior include ranting about Jesus?
