Polarizing? They're Kiddin, Right?

This "blame both sides" mantra is bullshit as well and a product of "Why can't we all get along" Pollyanna-ism.
NEITHER SIDE is to blame for the polarization part.

We're polarized because our sincerely held views on both sides are completely incompatible.

I don't know how many times that I have to point out that if you want basically the same things, you can debate the means to get there.
If you want completely different things, which is the case with inbred, syphilitic Trumpanzees and moral/intelligent people, there is absolutely NOTHING to debate.

We're not going to get along. People with a seething, viscerally-felt hatred for one another don't even want to get along. They're not supposed to get along.

What the orange baboon did was embolden the cracker racists to ooze out from under their rocks. The political polarity was already there.

Smarten the fuck up.

Please. It's the classic case of exaggerating one side and demonizing the other. The bolded is frankly childish. Yes, yes I know...your side is the "the good guys" and the other side is "the bad guys." They think the same thing. But anyone without a dog in that fight can see they are more alike than not. You might have some righteous squabbles over a few petty social issues, but both your parties are in the same pockets and pushing the same agenda. For a recent example, House and Senate Democrats just voted overwhelmingly to increase annual defense spending to $716 billion. They just handed a man they compare to Hitler damn near a trillion dollars a year to bomb people with. Nice.

Get your head out of your ass, man.

When you have no balls, you can be comfortable straddling the fence and not taking sides.

I see you chose to ignore the rest of my reply. Convenient. :|

How's the cognitive dissonance of voting to put the former board director of Walmart in the White House while decrying the crony capitalism of Republicans?

Ever wonder what our economy would be like if we slashed military spending in half? We spend more than the next 10 nations combined and have been doing so for decades. if you build it, they will use it. We are at war or skirmishing endlessly.

Intentionally. America has been at war for ~93% of the time it has been a nation and currently supports 3/4's of the world's military dictatorships.
