Politifact Lie of the Year

But...but...but yer good buddy Tutu likes to quote from politifact all the time.

You going to call her on her liberal bias too?

Wait a minute...what was I thinking?

You don't hold your friends to the same standard you set for Liberals!

stop blabbering..it isn't becoming..

The mention of death panels determining health care provisions on a "contrributing to society" scale is obviously a pants-on-fire lie. Lets be at least a little bit real here. A lie is a lie no matter who tells it.

But while committing to reality, how about we examine all the disparagement thrown at insurance companies whose policies decide which treatments are paid for and which ones are not. Do you honestly think the government's plan will be any different? Is the government plan going to put carte blanc on which medical treatments will be covered? Or is there going to be a government panel that will decide what limits to place on coverage? Maybe not a death panel, but definitely putting health care coverage decisions under government bureaucracy. But hey, as long as Palin is willing to put boot prints on her tongue, why mention that a government panel will, indeed, be telling people what will be paid for, just as insurance companies do now.

And while we're still aiming at the real world, do you think they will be able to actually force insurance companies to vastly increase coverage and simultaneously reduce the costs of health insurance? The only difference between Palin's lie about death panels, and the democrats lie about increasing coverage while reducing costs is Palin's lie is somewhat more enjoyably ridiculous.

Also, try examining what is happening with medicare. Drastic cuts all over the place. What are seniors to do? Go out and buy their own insurance? With what? Or are they going to receive subsidies to afford what medicare no longer covers? Or are they going to be on their own even more so than now? I thought this was about covering those not covered, not about changing coverage of those who are.

HAHAHAHAHA, this is just a diversion for all the lies Obama told. Try to humor them. :)

good grief they are still whining over the call of the government being involved in death panels..I don't know what else you would call it when they start denying you care because they can't afford it..

Let's just consider how great the Social Security Department is, when it comes to disabilities.

It's been shown that if they deny 100 people; that only a small percentage are going to actually be able to struggle through the courts, in an attempt to force Social Security to reverse their position.
Hell, there are lawyers that their entire practice is completely geared to fight the Social Security Department.

Whats to comment about ? Its irrelevant to your first post....

This is about Palin's comments, not insurance company policys....

It was a response to mimi's comment "I don't know what else you would call it when they start denying you care because they can't afford it.."

Further, it would behoove Palin to comment on facts, not make up a scare story and try to promote it as fact.

OMg, your Messiah just told us if we didn't pass his health care take over the Guberment is going to go BANKRUPT..I guess you would call that fact giving and not SCARE tactics...LOL

Your last paragraph would apply more to Obama than Palin.

Isn't it amazing how our willfully ignorant and insipidly stubborn neocon parrots are trying to justify or rationalize or excuse Palin's BS? I love the way you just shoot back the truth to them, which they sputter and fume about because there is NO getting around the fact that Palin lied.

Way to go, kid. Let's hope they actually try to put Palin on some level of importance for the up-coming elections. She along with Giuliani should damn near guarantee the Dems keeping a lot of seats.
