You might have kicked the odd donkey, mate - about your mark - but it had nothing to do with us. It was part of a war between French and English imperialism, and your masters didn't want to pay for their defence, once they felt safe.

Meaningless since 1776.

There's clever!

It's not hard, when the other person is Welsh.

And you obey your masters just like their original slaves, only more willingly. No wonder the world, and democracy, are obviously finished. Heil Trumpf and Death!

I don't have masters. Perhaps, because you do, you automatically think everyone else does. Real men like me don't need masters. We're our own bosses.

Oh no - you just grovel to the rich because you love grovelling. Better men in most styes, kiddo.

Depends.... I support doing something to narrow the generationally passed down wealth gap resulting from slavery.

The wealth gap didn't result from slavery. That's nothing more than an excuse from those demanding reparations.

The American people are solidly against illegally confiscating the wealth of those who have done nothing wrong and giving it to people who were never slaves...because it's blatantly immoral, divisive, and racist. The vast majority of poor people in America are white. "White privilege" is a myth invented by the only actual racists involved, who create racism where it never existed by fighting imaginary racism with actual racism at every turn.

As Democrats debate reparations for slavery, polls suggest Americans are not convinced

Sure.....I supported 40 acres and a mule right after the war. But I doubt the modern negro would know what to do with either today. The mule would starve to death and the property would be taken for back taxes within a few years because no one could figure out how to plant food stamps. ;)

I disagree, there is generational wealth that greatly affects people's position in this nation... Just look at the dumbo who is president. So if your great grandparents made huge money off of slaves, and that has been passed down to you.... You are one thing.

If your great grandparents were slaves and set free with nothing, that has likely been passed down to you. It is much harder in this nation to get ahead if you are born dirt poor than if your father gives you a small loan of a million dollars to get started.

Disagree all you want. You should learn that doing so doesn't make what you say the truth.

My grandparents didn't own slaves. No one in my family did. There are lots of whites whose families didn't own slaves. So much for you claim that the wealth gap was caused by slavery.

Interesting how a small loan of a million was turned into billions yet blacks benefit through affirmative action by getting jobs for which they're unqualified then still fall behind.

Really? What was the cause?

Bad choices and making excuses rather than accepting responsibility for those choices.

Those good at making excuses are rarely good for anything else. When someone constantly wants to play victim, they shouldn't be surprised that they fall behind in other areas. Perhaps if those on the lower end would spend 1/4 the effort trying to improve themselves as they did whining that someone else is the cause of their problems, what they whine about wouldn't exist.

I was being sarcastic, Rump lies when he says he only got a $1 million loan, but even that would make a huge difference in ones life.

So explain to me, in your world, blacks make such worst decisions than whites.
