How is it an ad hom fallacy when we're talking about people? I'm saying that anyone would be less bad when it comes to outsourcing than Trump, because of Trump's character.

He's lying when he says that's his policy. We know this because outsourcing has grown and because he's a pathological liar.
Character matters. I'm not saying I think Trump is lying because he's fat. I'm saying he's lying because he lies constantly and his actions don't match with what he claims is his policy.

You mean the trade war that has only hurt us? Well if that's the case, then he's too stupid to know how to stop outsourcing. But considering all of his policies have been about helping the rich, it's more likely that he's trying to increase outsourcing.

There is the other option. Trump will quit to escape the impeachment and the punishments. Trump has created a world with sycophants in front of him, sycophants in back of him and ass kissers in any direction he looks. He went to the baseball game to get the applause he thought he deserved and learned a hash and overdue lesson. Booing and lock him up faced him instead. Perhaps that taught him something.

Yes, it's stupid in the long run, but it's good for rich people in the short term, which is why they like it. Trump and the 1% don't care about leaving a better country to their grandchildren. They care about making money and nothing else.
