Poll: Majority of Americans now disapprove of Trump's coronavirus response

Soleimani was a terrorist general. But there is no evidence that he had anything to do with 9/11 or its perpetrators.

You imply that there may be classified/secret evidence, to which presumably the Vice President is privy. So he tweeted about it?

There are people who will believe him, of course. That was the intention.

So? He had something to do with killing Marines in Lebanon. I'd have capped him in the head just for that fact alone.

If it's Trump vs. Biden in the election, I'm voting Third Party. If it was Pence vs. Biden then I'd vote Pence. You're obviously voting Biden no matter who has the "R" after their name.

Support for President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic has diminished over the past two weeks, according to a new survey, with a majority of Americans now disapproving of his response to the public health crisis.

An ABC News/Ipsos poll released Friday reports that 52 percent of respondents disapprove of his management of the deadly outbreak, while only 47 percent approve.

The president's latest rating in the survey shows Trump's support backsliding from the levels he achieved in mid-March, when more than half of Americans, 55 percent, approved of his response and 43 percent disapproved.

While I agree, these polls never amount to much. They're often less than reliable.

Polls are bullshit. All of them. You lefties never learn, and that's good. I want you overconfident, just like you were in 2016.

Legion you forgot to mention that, Hillary got 3 million more voted the Trump got.

Legion you forgot to mention that, Hillary got 3 million more voted the Trump got.

You forgot to mention that pollsters told you she'd win the electoral vote by 118 votes, cum dumpster. You and the Hildebeast believed them.

God damn, you're stupid.

Keep trusting polls. I want you to.

News polls don't mean anything.

I told them to enjoy it, I knew it wouldn’t last. I knew the minute people saw the local medical personnel begging for supplies that it would be over for him. He tries to hold his rallies during local news, so people don’t here how it’s bad it is in their communities.

Trump is not required to supply hospitals, other than military or veteran hospitals. Hospitals must obtain their own supplies. If a hospital is stupid enough to run out paper masks, blame the hospital, not Trump.

Are you saying that if the government has a stock pile of equipment to fight this virus they are not required to give it out?

As to polling, you know nothing, sweetie

WRONG. You are denying statistical mathematics.

* The raw data must be available.
* The method of collection must be available (i.e. the questions asked).
* The selection must be by randN.
* All biases in the data must be accounted for and published.
* The variance must be declared and justified.
* The margin of error must be calculated and published with the averages, or the averages are meaningless.

It is YOU that is denying statistical mathematics. News polls don't mean anything. Ipsos polls don't mean anything.

And yet, no one can say why they disapprove other than the boorish nonsense they have been fed from the PHONY media and, Trump will win re-election regardless of the desperate, repugnant anti American efforts by the left. ;)

Understandable since he's been all over the map on this. His inconsistency works against him. I have no doubt Americans trust Vice President Pence and Dr. Fauci more than they do Trump.

Where did he go wrong? In fact, he was way ahead of the WHO.

On December 31 last year, China alerted WHO to several cases of unusual pneumonia in Wuhan

January 6: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a travel notice for Wuhan, China due to the spreading coronavirus

January 7: The CDC established a coronavirus incident management system to better share and respond to information about the virus

January 11: The CDC issued a Level I travel health notice for Wuhan, Chinahttps://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2001191

First case discovered in the US on January 19th. Arrived on January 15th.

January 20: Dr Fauci announces the National Institutes of Health is already working on the development of a vaccine for the coronavirus

January 31: The Trump Administration:
1. Declared the coronavirus a public health emergency.
2. Announced Chinese travel restrictions
3. Suspended entry into the United States for foreign nationals who pose a risk of transmitting the coronavirus.

February 24: The Trump Administration sent a letter to Congress requesting at least $2.5 billion to help combat the spread of the coronavirus

February 29: The Trump Administration:
. Announced a level 4 travel advisory to areas of Italy and South Korea
. Barred all travel to Iran
. Barred the entry of foreign citizens who visited Iran in the last 14 days

March 6: President Trump signed an $8.3 billion bill to fight the coronavirus outbreak.

WHO declares COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11
