The Revolution is very hostile towards landlords, in fact they have broad objections to property rights, they are in fact Marvists.

I am not so sure that the eviction bans actually end.

Yeah, it's almost as if you need to pay people more money so they can afford rent.
 
I have not found data yet but I expect that one of the consequences of the COVID Martial Law eviction bans is that folks are deciding that renting out is a bad idea, so properties get sold to people who want to live in them, thus drying up the supply of rentals, thus driving up the cost of renting, thus creating more Street People.

The law of unintended consequences.

Yeah,...its almost as if people need to get off their lazy asses and go to work instead of laying around smoking pot and playing video games like little kids expecting others to support them. Fuckum......out on the street. Maybe they can turn over a few rocks and find some grubs to eat if not they can starve.

It would be nice to know how many people rent, and how much on average these over 82,000 people owe, information you will not find at the link because so-called journalists tend to suck at their jobs now. The 145 million in relief will not go far, that is less than one months rents if it was spread around to all who are behind.
