Lindsey Graham warned Trump in public, and many others did the same behind closed doors, not to pardon the Capitol Rioters. The reasons are numerous, but the key question is "Will Trump pardon the rioters?"

I think he won't because then he'd have to take responsibility for the insurrection and attack on the Capitol. This means all of those rioters will be left swinging in the breeze by Trump. Facing hard prison time will, no doubt, convince most of the criminals to cut deals to save their own asses....mostly fat middle-aged asses, but asses just the same.

He's certainly delusional, but Jared+Ivanka will probably persuade him to save his own ass first with something like "Daddy, they are useful idiots, morons and peons. You have millions more. Save yourself for the millions and let these few thousand go to prison."

Not a lawyer, but from what I've read, it's a distinct possibility. However, I strongly doubt Trump would do it since, if he did, then he's confessing to his own guilt of starting the insurrection.

Junior is guilty too. Trump will probably pardon his guilty children, but not the thousands who attacked the Capitol.

The most interesting part to me is how Trump's failure to pardon his fans, the very people he and Junior told to attack the Capitol, will affect his popularity with all of his fans not in jail.

I suspect Trump's popularity with his fans has peaked and that by failing to pardon them, he has effectively jumped the shark. He can spend millions on Trump TV and Trump social media, but it will become a money pit as his lies and betrayals are remembered.

Trump has painted himself into a Lose-Lose position. He fucked himself and will be popularly known as the Biggest Loser of the United States.

Chrissy Teigen is correct: Trump is the Pussy Assed Bitch of the United States.

It's hard to say because predicting the actions of a sociopath like #TRE45ON is difficult unless you're one, too. I think though that he is really worried about his financial future. Even more so his ill-begotten spawn with their unholy ambitions are as well. I think that they will put pressure on him to walk away from the whole mess so as not to further tarnish the brand. It won't make any different to the Cult. They've already got plenty of excuses ready to roll if pardons don't. "The Democrats wouldn't let him," "The Democrats impeached him the 2nd time to tie his hands so he couldn't issue pardons," "Hillary's emails," "Biden's kid's laptop," "Antifa," "Benghazi!" etc. :laugh:

OJ claimed he was innocent too. LOL

Here's an interactive map of the Capitol attack. No doubt this will be shown to all of those facing charges along with all of their FB posts, Parler videos and other evidence. These criminals will be facing years in prison unless they take a plea deal. Even then, depending upon the DOJ and what information the criminals have to offer will determine if they go to jail for a few months or just house arrest.

Hunters know how to hunt their prey. :D

Trump is a self-serving asshole. Yes, he loves chaos. Yes, he loves to be the center of attention. Yes, he loves to be the hero. He also hates prison. When it comes to helping himself or helping thousands of his domestic terrorists fans, Trump will save himself first, foremost and always.

A lot of former Trump fans, including Powell and Rudy, will be left hanging in the breeze. They'll be too radioactive to attract much financial support to cover their legal bills.

Many of Trump's lesser crimes are now taking greater significance for the same reason Al Capone was brought down over taxes; if it's the only way to bring Trump to justice, then that's the way it will go no matter the cost.

Trump is going down and down hard. While I've defended the idea that Trump will never serve a day in prison, after this insurrection, I'm no longer sure.
