fucccck I am sooo screwed. our divorce rate is already 50%. That means to find a girl to marry I need to like know her for an absurdly long time first. I've cut off all contact with anyone I knew in highschool, college I wasted almost my whole time on 2.5 relationships. Now everyone is spread out in different areas. I'm already old at 28. my time is running out. I should just kill myself now and be done with it :(

having a relationship with a dozen or more is already legal......the problem arises when you want the government to apply a rubber stamp of approval on it......(sound familiar?).......

and financially secure...i married the first time at 29 and it lasted 14 years...my second marriage has lasted much longer and still going

between us we have four children and 6 grandchildren..oh yes, i married a younger woman...by 5 weeks :)

Most men, I agree.

I got married at 35 and am glad I did not meet Mrs. Right until then. Its kinda the perfect age, I hope I still think so when im 70 and hopefully enjoying my grandkids.
 
I had 17 years to young, wild and free at an adult. Id have missed out on a LOT of experience and fun if I had married young.

the closer you are in age the more you have in common culturally, especially in our rapidly evolving culture

my wife and i share many similar experiences even though we did not marry and have children together

however, we have been friends since 1981, in fact my exwife introduced us

Absolutely. My beef with it is that one man has absolute power over a multitude of women and children. I always think of those women and what's wrong with them that they need this kind of control. Look at Warren Jeffs and his practice of "marrying" underage girls. And the women who wear old west clothing, don't cut their hair, don't wear make-up because the husband doesn't allow it. I want to slap them all upside the head, male and female alike.
