Polygamy is no joke, man discovers

Saudi Arabia is probably the last place on the planet I'd want to live, if I was a woman. I don't even think they are allowed to drive cars. LAME

A woman is also not allowed to be unescorted in public without the permission of a male. This male can even be a 4 year old male son. This means a mother would have to ask a child son's permission to go to a market to buy food for dinner.

Actually, I was thinking about that the other day. I'm warming up to the idea that I'd 'have' to have a driver.

I wouldn't last long there.

I am not so sure how much longer it will last over there either. That is one factor in the strife in that area of the world.
Give a woman an inch and she will take all of it :D

smacking hand with ruler for typing such stuff.

Polygyny - More than one wife
Polygamy - More than one spouse (stressed toward wife but can be both)
Polyandry - More than one husband

I wouldn't last long there.

The weird thing, is that some muslim countries have elected women presidents and prime ministers. I think Turkey, Pakistan, and Bangladesh have all had women leaders. That's more than we've even done.

Saudi Arabia must be in a class by itself -- somwhere back in the 12th century.

I've always wondered about that. We consider ourselves to be equal, but after well over 200 years in existence we're acting like we've landed on the moon because we have a black and a female contender for the whitehouse.

Parliamentarian systems all of them I believe.

Although even the selection with the Congress of a leader took this long to select a female speaker so even given that they would be ahead.
