By your own explanation you are wrong.
Mexicans did not speak Spanish until they became a Spanish colony.

What sort of desperate historic shuffling is this ? You are actually trying to pedal the notion that it was OK to steal from Mexicans because they spoke Spanish ?
It might take you some time to extract your foot.

Just about every part of every know country today, in the world, once "belonged" to someone else; who in turn had someone else occupying it, before they did..

True enough- but hardly relevant.

Name a successful wall project.

The Berlin Wall ? No.
Hadrian's Wall ? Nope.
The Great Wall of China ? Negatory.
La gran muralla de Trumpo ?........................

The Berlin wall was built to keep people in, not out. - Failed attempt at correlation.
Hadrian's Wall did not go from sea to sea, nor was it meant to - Failed attempt at correlation
The Great Wall of China failed, due to not being properly maintained and different areas being controlled by different political leaders; but it did work effectively when it was manned and maintained properly.
A wall along the southern border would accomplish the same thing the Great Wall did and we also have the ability to maintain and manned.
Plus; while the Great Wall of China was over 13,000 miles long, a wall on our southern border would only need to be a little of 1,900 miles; so where do you see it failing.

Trumps wall will never be built. Talk of it is merely a hucksters device and you bought it.
You are a fool.

They don't want the wall because democrats need immigration; establishment republicans are bought and sold by people who have an economic interest in illegal immigration. Both take advantage of these people, yet they couch their arguments for open borders in moralistic terms.

People who want the wall are adversely affected by illegal immigration.

It's not a question of whether the wall would work---it's ridiculous to argue it wouldn't. It's a question of who loses if it's built.

Over 700 migrants feared dead in Mediterranean shipwrecks, UN says

Three separate shipwrecks in the Mediterranean south of Italy in recent days are thought to have claimed the lives of more than 700 people, officials from the UN's refugee agency said.

The number of refugees trying to reach Europe across the Mediterranean is increasing rapidly. According to the UN’s International Organization for Migration Refugee Agency (IOM), an estimated 190,000 people have crossed the Mediterranean in 2016. Of them, nearly 156,000 came to Greece and 34,000 to Italy, with 1,375 people considered missing or dead.

'Plan Trump' should be interesting.

Actually Hadrian's Wall does run from the Irish Sea to the North Sea!

I don't remember the site that I used; but Wikipedia has the following:

Hadrian's Wall
Hadrian's Wall extended west from Segedunum at Wallsend on the River Tyne, via Carlisle and Kirkandrews-on-Eden, to the shore of the Solway Firth, ending a short but unknown distance west of the village of Bowness-on-Solway.[4]
