The Berlin wall was built to keep people in, not out. - Failed attempt at correlation.
Hadrian's Wall did not go from sea to sea, nor was it meant to - Failed attempt at correlation
The Great Wall of China failed, due to not being properly maintained and different areas being controlled by different political leaders; but it did work effectively when it was manned and maintained properly.
A wall along the southern border would accomplish the same thing the Great Wall did and we also have the ability to maintain and manned.
Plus; while the Great Wall of China was over 13,000 miles long, a wall on our southern border would only need to be a little of 1,900 miles; so where do you see it failing.

They don't want the wall because democrats need immigration; establishment republicans are bought and sold by people who have an economic interest in illegal immigration. Both take advantage of these people, yet they couch their arguments for open borders in moralistic terms.

People who want the wall are adversely affected by illegal immigration.

It's not a question of whether the wall would work---it's ridiculous to argue it wouldn't. It's a question of who loses if it's built.
