When I was a kid my papa took me to the movies to see the original King Kong, now that was not the first release of the movie I believe the movie was released to theatres in 1933. It was wildly popular and it was re released to theatres around 1954. I was totally taken by that movie and Mighty Joe Young and to this day they remain my favorites and yeah im kinda old but not that old, babyboomer
