This is great and so true. When I first started on a political message board, I was sooo sweet. I got eaten alive of course. I really had to toughen up. Now, years later, no one would really believe that IRL I actually get described as sweet very often. I don't really think being online a lot is a good thing, but I dunno.
 
Then again, IRL nobody speaks to me they way online people speak to me, so it's really easy to be kind.
