Powerful and staunch supporter of gun rights ends lifetime NRA membership

You gun lickers are such cowards. Can't leave your home without your beloved steel.

Really? It's about penises? Is that SERIOUSLY your attempt at an argument?

Just remember to wear your ruby slippers; because "There's no place like home - There's no place like home - There's no place like home". :)

Just remember, science has proven: Conservatives have a larger ‘fear center’ in their brain

Conservatives’ brains have larger amygdalas than the brains of liberals. Amygdalas are responsible for fear and other “primitive” emotions. At the same time, conservatives’ brains were also found to have a smaller anterior cingulate — the part of the brain responsible for courage and optimism.

The NRA is a cancer on this nation. They are not looking out for the safety of the citizenry, they are looking out for the profits of gun manufacturers, who don't care WHO buys a gun. Murderers, felons, wife beaters and the mentally ill are PAYING CUSTOMERS.

Grow the fuck up, you are naive.

LOL. You sound like a republican talking about the ACLU.

You think you have a right to bring a gun onto your employer's premises?

The balls of you guys. I have always thanked god i live in NY, but never moreso than when I read these gun threads. Not on my fucking property you won't.

I don't have a right to bring a gun into my company vehicle, and I have agreed to that rule when I signed the paperwork accepting responsibility for the truck.

But the remarks I made were about what I am licenced to carry in my private vehicle. As far as I know, driving onto someone's private property does not require me to notify them that I have a legally licenced concealed weapon.

Parking lots are exempt from this. You may not be allowed to enter your employers building while carrying (mine encourages carrying everywhere), you most certainly can in your own car in their parking lot. Hell, even parking lots of schools here are zones you can carry in.

Adolphus Busch IV is trying to tell you something. Something that only an insider can provide. Only someone who KNOWS what the NRA is REALLY all about.

But the parrots will disregard this information and continue to believe the NRA cares about the American people.

Budweiser heir Adolphus Busch IV resigns NRA membership

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - One day after the U.S. Senate rejected a bill that would have expanded background checks on guns, one of St. Louis' most powerful and staunch supporters of gun rights ended his lifetime membership with the National Rifle Association (NRA).

"The NRA I see today has undermined the values upon which it was established,"
wrote Busch, who also dropped his NRA membership. "Your current strategic focus clearly places priority on the needs of gun and ammunition manufacturers while disregarding the opinions of your 4 million individual members."

Busch joined the pro-gun organization in 1975 and has spoken before of his love of hunting. But the NRA has moved in a direction that Busch would not follow. "One only has to look at the makeup of the 75-member board of directors, dominated by manufacturing interests, to confirm my point. The NRA appears to have evolved into the lobby for gun and ammunition manufacturers rather than gun owners," he wrote.
I figured that out a long time ago. The NRA stopped giveing a rats ass about hunters and conservationist, the constituency who founded them, around 1981.

I understand the guns = penis thing is a bit silly, but seriously, what the fuck is with you guys and your love affair with guns? Why do you have to so many? Why do you sit and polish and rub them day after day after day? Why do you talk about them like they're the love of your life? Do you pay that much attention to your wife/girlfriend? I would suspect not. Is it hoarding? Hoarding, as we know, is an illness, a mental illness. Can you get therapy for it? Perhaps? Let's hope so.

The Reagan shooting. Prior to that the NRA was a respectable organization but after Reagan was shot and the uproar over the accessibility to guns became more vocal, something snapped in the collective mind of the NRA and their purpose started moving away from one of education to one of paranoia.

I have no fear of 'inanimate objects'. I have fired many different weapons from a .45 handgun to rifles and shotguns. I have been trap shooting with friends numerous times and enjoyed the challenge. I don't have a fear of owning a gun.

Your "RIGHT to carry a firearm, as allowed by law", DOES require my approval, if you are going to step foot on MY PROPERTY.

Don't want to comply?

If a CHL Holder carries a concealed handgun on posted property, they can be charged with criminal trespass by a license holder. The charge is a Class A misdemeanor, and if you are convicted, your license will be revoked...."as allowed by law"

And THAT is Texas law.

How will you know that they are carrying, if they don't tell you?

As they say, Robins and Bluejays don't nest together. I am not surprised you would willingly break the law, hell, you right wing scum are defending the rights of murderers, felons and wife beaters to be able to buy their weapons of death in the secure and safe place with armed guards protecting them.

While that was a nice rant you posted, it failed to address the question of:
"So how are you going to know, if you're not notified of the firearm??"

Every state is different. The NRA has pushed this heinous disregard for everyone else's safety in every state. I imagine an owner or manager would be concerned if they fired an employee who had a deadly weapon a few hundred feet away. Human foibles and the heat of the moment are NEVER considered by you right wing morons.

There is no way to know. A civil society is based on citizens abiding by the law and having respect for other citizen's rights. If you willfully break the law, you must also be willing to accept the consequences.

The second amendment is a right afforded to law ABIDING citizens. That action would put you where you belong, a scum sucking bottom feeder.
