He IS my president right now. I acknowledge that with no prodding.

I am, however, hoping that will end at noon on January 20th of next year.

If he manages to win a second term...I will be disconsolate. But my unhappiness will be for my country and the world, not for myself. I will still be a happy camper. So whenever you laugh...I will most likely be laughing also.

I miss former President Barack Obama...that is for sure. I even miss former president George W. Bush...who was smarter, more clever, better educated than Trump...and who had a ton more class.

Despite the fact that I abhor the kind of "leader" Trump is...and regret the kinds of insecurities he brings to American governance...and the pity I have for people naïve, stupid or evil enough to support him...I do not hate him or his supporting morons. I feel almost as sorry for him as I do for his supporters.

And I am content in my life. I have enjoyed this trip...which, at 84, is much closer to being over than to having started. I am a very, very lucky guy.

I am assuming your "Then you must be devoid of all awareness" was a throw-away line, offered because you obviously have nothing worthwhile to say.

As I said...l hope you actually are laughing (you don't sound like it) because I sure as hell am. I'd prefer a win/win situation...but will settle for you being the loser you seem intent on being.

As I've mentioned several times, Hawk...almost ALL of my closest friends are die-hard conservatives and Trump supporters. Don't take the remarks too seriously. Most of the time I type them while laughing my ass off.

I DO WANT TRUMP GONE...and hope his supporters regain their sanity after he goes.
