Pres. Trurmp sets new precedent - Allowing Press to STAY for Immigration negotiation

Just point at mumbling nitwits, and roll your eyes. Don't encourage them into meaningless debate over nothing but parroted chatter, or stuff they just yank from their asses.

Mmmm ... the stink of Racist Leftwing desperation.
:palm:

actually that's a pretty good description of what Trump did to the CongressCritters at the meeting......

good. now it's on the table for all to see -no more of this "poor DREAMERS" and mean old Mr. Trump.

This is a sane deal that benefits all involved-no reason there can't be a deal.

Trump appears totally sane and stable lol! Wow.

This was good politics on a couple different levels: one is, it dispenses with the nonsense that Trump is unstable. But more importantly, it shows Trump’s willingness to work with democrats on immigration even if it means ‘taking some heat from his base’.

Which actually translates into taking heat from the Ann Coulter-ish immigration hardliners. They’re a minority in Trump’s camp anyway. Most of us want The Wall even if it means compromising on DACA.

I know I’d happily declare victory on it.

yes DACA is fine with border security.. I was impressed with the entire meeting and how Trump led it.
Trump probably made more progress in that meeting on immigration reform then in 20 years
of stale Congressional ones.

Did you see Lindsey Graham brown-nosing Trump?..
He's become an agreeable player, now that Russia is off the table. McCain is a dead issue at least.

The spin:
Trump got caught up on the definition of a "clean bill" I'm sure that will be the MS fake loop coverage
and none of Trump interacting/leading.

Although maybe some people are now dissuaded from Crazy Man Trump? :eek2:

He not only got "caught up" he had to have McCarthy bail him out, that's leadership

Nothing was resolved, nobody is fighting border security as a generalized item, the Senate passed a billion dollar border security bill in the last session which the House refused to hear, you don't actually think the President has enough credibility left that anyone other than the Trumkins listen or believe what he says?

Wait, what are Democrats doing having a rational discussion with a mentally disturbed person?

Something the republicans never did for Obama. Do their jobs of being a voice for the people, and getting shit done, even if you have issue with leadership. You don't sit on your hands like Obama got from republicans, who openly admitted they were just road blocks for the administration. I still can't believe how pitiful that was. Many children deal with issues better.

Isn’t the whole point of The Resistance to oppose Trump?

Since politics is 90% perception democrats in Congress would do well to give heed to the optics of yesterday’s televised meeting. Trump appeared to be anything but unhinged—just the opposite, actually. He appeared engaged, affable even. And he appeared anxious to get a compromise from democrats in order to solve the immigration problem.

Maybe voters are starting to wish democrats would spend less energy on getting rid of Trump and spend more on working with him.

But that’s just a hunch.

It’s presented quite the contrast, didn’t it lol.

Trump the media caricature vs Trump in real life engaging his opponents across the aisle. The only way they can effectively spin it is to hope people didn’t watch it with their own eyeballs.

It was a brilliant move in that regard.

Voters who bite on the ‘clean bill’ bit are probably a lost cause anyway.
