The numbers you use were wrong the last time and are still wrong, Damo. Bush's final year deficit was $1.2 trillion, not $400 billion.

And the analogy is just plain asinine. Running a government isn't the same thing as running a business.

Exactly, I always thought the object of a business is profit. The object of government, to break even, not spend more than you take in in taxes.

LOL. He spends more than Bush by a bunch, but it's "growing slow"... That makes him fiscally conservative even though he said 400 Billion in overspending was irresponsible during Bush's terms...

Gawd. You have to believe that most people are too stupid to understand that 1.3 Trillion per year is more overspending than 400 Billion per year to believe this nonsense.

Let's give it an analogy.

I make $10 per day on my lemonade stand, I'm insane and want to lose lots of money so I spend $14 to get my supplies, but a new guy is about ready to buy my lemonade stand when we have a huge freeze in Lemonlandia, USA where I buy my lemons and I have to spend $23 that day... The next guy takes over, and spends $23.50 per day for lemonade supplies, still making just $10 per day, and tells you he is more "fiscally conservative" because his rate of increase is less than mine...

Yeah, but how much in debt was your lemonade stand when you took it over from the guy you bought it from?
Did you have to bailout the cup makers?
