Trump's tariffs are just ridiculously high. 5 % at the most wouldn't be bad but 25/30/40 150 or more percent is ridiculous .

Right a company buys a product from China for 3 dollars they sell it for 6 dollars now if the tariffs increase the cost of that product 150 % from 3 dollars to 7.50 how are they going to sell it for the same 6 dollars as before ?

The tariff theory was to protect your important industries. It is especially important to a country that has one huge major industry. That does not apply to America.
