Pro-Palestinian protesters invade the Capitol

University of Notre Dame. Chemistry.

Go ahead and match it.

My best friend went to Notre Dumb which is what I called it to piss him off (I was jealous of their football success). This was back in the 70s (72-76). He was in Naval ROTC. Graduated in Physics.

We're you there in the 70s?

Jan. 6 rioter known as ‘QAnon Shaman’ sentenced to 41 months

Though he isn’t accused of violence, prosecutors say Chansley, of Arizona, was the “public face of the Capitol riot” https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/jan-6-rioter-known-as-qanon-shaman-sentenced-to-41-months

There you go. He wasn't officially charged or even accused of violence. "Chansley, who pleaded guilty to a felony charge of obstructing an official proceeding, was among the first rioters to enter the building."

72-76 as well. My roommate was a math major. I did know one physics major. I can still see his face, but don’t recall the name.

There was a another chem major in Naval ROTC that I recall. I think he went on to become a commander rank. Vincent was his first name.

My friends name was Richard. So you were there those same years? Did you see the championship game against Alabama? ND was perrenial Top Ten back then. Parsegian and Devine. Remember Ross Browner, Eric Penick, Tom Clements, Dave Casper?

Nope, didn’t know your friend. The physics major I knew, his name just came to mind, was Art/Artie. Maybe your friend knew him.

Oh yeah, all those names. I saw a photo of Penick recently. Looks awful. In a wheelchair. I guess he had one leg amputated.

I recall that Alabama game vividly. But, you know, the USC game that year was probably the highlight. Still a classic in my mind. And Penick’s run in that game

Yep. A BS in Chemistry.

First career in forensics. Testified in a lot of criminal cases. Helped put a lot of bad guys away. Several on death row. One executed. Walked into many a clandestine drug lab to keep that shit off the streets. Trained a lot of cops to not fuck up and let the bad guys go. That’s where I also learned to babysit so many lawyers that don’t know shit from shinola. That’s where I also learned not to second guess juries. That’s where I learned that justice is best served to the “haves” vs the “have nots”.

Second career in environmental. That’s where I learned that there is no place as “away”, for the idiots that everything in this world isn’t connected. That certain shit is here forever and unless we want an early exit as humans, to start taking care of shit.

Third career in academia, briefly. That’s where I learned that NOBODY is getting wealthy doing research. Research of any kind. Unlike the idiots who only step on university grounds for a sporting event.

Your background? Good for you. But I didn’t get into ND and finish that degree on my good looks. So, try to avoid shooting your mouth of on the Einstein bullshit.

Well a 4 year degree isn't very impressive. It is about like having a high school diploma back in the 40s. A BS is just too easy to get. My med school had 2300 applicants to get less than 200 seats. My residence had almost 300 to get 30 positions. So don't pat yourself on the back for a 4 years BS in Chemistry. I have taken Gen Chem, Bio Chem, Organic Chem, during undergrad school and Biochemistry in Medical school. Lots of courses on pharmacokinetics.

These protestors interrupted an official proceeding. J6 protesters were jailed for interrupting an official proceeding. Will these protesters get prison time?

Quit being stupid about this. These protestors didn’t interrupt a constitutional requirement for the peaceful transfer of power. In fact, none of you Trumptards have been able to say what official proceeding was interrupted.

These protestors, unlike the J6 rioters, went through all the security checkpoints. They broke into nothing. They were arrested for their efforts, including 3 for assault on police officers.

Will they get prison time? Not for the misdemeanors.

Will they get prison time like the seditionists? Nope. That’s because they didn’t commit that crime.

So I guess you remember the game against USC when ND was leading at halftime 24-0 and in the 2nd half, Anthony Davis ran the opening kickoff back for a TD and went wild in the 2nd half. If I remember correctly, USC ended up winning 55-24.
What dorm did you live in?

Note the shirts.

The LAW says interrupting an official proceeding. Did they interrupt an official proceeding?

You know, even Ben Carson, a flat earther, young earth, creationist dumbfuck got through med school. Go figure, huh?

I’ve been around lots of doctors, PhDs and higher ed people all my life. I found that one attribute they had that I lacked. And it wasn’t intelligence. It was the drive to continue that path. I lacked the desire, not the ability, shitstain.

So yeah, I’ll pat myself on the back. A non-legacy kid from public schools Idaho to be the first in his family to attend college and that college be ND. Not a family with money or strings to pull. Not a Trump or a Bush.

Interrupting an official proceeding is a FELONY not a misdemeanor.

LOL

At halftime, we all said, “Well, this game’s over”, so we headed out to play frisbee football or something of the like. Came back to see the catastrophe.

I lived in Grace Hall. North quad. One of the two new towers at that time. I guess it’s an office building now.

My dad was a mechanic and I went through public schools. I worked my way through college and paid for my wife's education too.I graduated Summa cum laude. I worked during med school and finished in the top 10%. . Worked as an anesthesia assistant on the weekends. I was a RA during the year during undergrad. I roofed houses in the summers. It was hot as hell but my hair got blonder and I had a great tan.:)

Apparently, you have the brains enough.

Do why are you such a dumbfuck on the J6 thing that you are unable to recognize reality? Are you another idiot like Ben Carson? A good technician, but really fucked in the head about everything else?
