Here's one definition and no where does it state anything about the contribution being a monetary one.

Promote: to contribute to the growth or prosperity of

You can contribute by verbally supporting it, presenting ideas of how it could be made better; but no where does it way they're supposed to PAY for it.

If two men are running for president, one is the product of a wealthy family who's father was President and head of the CIA, and a man who got into Harvard but could not get into Texas A&M, who then ran every business his father bought him into the ground... then got his daddy to get him into politics....

The other was a U.S. war vet., U.S. Senator, Vice President ....

Which would you vote for... oooops, you already proved that point, you voted for the guy whose daddy got him into the Alabama National Guard so he would not have to go to Vietnam.
 
I am NOT fighting the 2000 election again. Gore, like Romney could NOT win his home state which would have put him over the EC threshold as well. I don't think the best man could have won that election because I do not believe a best man ran.

This was easy to find on Romney.....Upon his return, he married his high school sweetheart, Ann, and soon after, enrolled in Brigham Young University. He graduated in 1971 with a Degree in English, with a 3.97GPA. His young family then moved to Boston, and Mitt enrolled in both Harvard Law (HLS) and Harvard Business School (HBS). He obtained his MBA from HBS in 1975 and graduated cum laude from HLS with his Juris Doctor the same year, finishing in the top 5% of his class.

Anything similar about Obama that gives a GPA or was percentage he finished in his class? I do know that he was made President of Harvard Law School. I also know that the standards to be President were removed in the 1970s.
