Prosecutor rules out grand jury in Trayvon Martin case

(Reuters) - The special prosecutor in the investigation of the shooting death of unarmed Florida teenager Trayvon Martin has ruled out using a grand jury to investigate the case, meaning her office alone will decide whether to charge shooter George Zimmerman.

The case has captured national attention, largely because of race.

i'm guessing they are doing this due to national attention....might be hard to find an unbiased grand jury...?
 
Wow, and just 10 minutes or so ago I was interested in what the Grand Jury would decide and what would happen if it were a no decision and the AG closed the records...

This is going to be a powder keg. What if they decide there really is not enough evidence to bring Zimmerman to trial? What do you believe happens then?

You can't be serious.....why can't everyone just face reality.....there doesn't seem to be a case against Zimmerman, and thats just the way is......so far.....

He was on the phone with a dispatcher, there is an eye witness, and the story they both tell along with Zimmermans version of events dovetail nicely into a
believable timeline of events and the physical evidence.........

You want to railroad a man for defending himself against an attacker just to satisfy a radical, racist, and fanatcially PC crowd because they threaten mob action and
civil disturbance ?......I hope our country never comes to that because that kind of thing won't have a pretty end.....

Maybe new evidence with change the situation, who knows...
