I hink that Mott, like the rest of us, would say those 8 people need to be prosecuted.

But I doubt that he would try and use the actions of 8 people to try and make a statement about all liberals or conservatives.

This is certainly not an indication of what the overwhelming majority of "lefties" believe or approve of.

Where in heaven's name did you get the idea that people protesting fee hikes were lefties? And for the record, only two were actually from Berkeley.

"Between 50 and 70 protesters scattered, he said, and police were able to capture eight. Only two were UC Berkeley students, Mogulof said. Two others were UC Davis students. One person was among those arrested earlier in the Wheeler Hall occupation."

This is along the lines of ib1guy who finds one person doing something and them claims that it speaks for all Southerners, religious folk or conservatives or something like that.

Growing up in the city adjacent to Berkeley I appreciated the story though and don't find it shocking in the least. Lots of protests have been going on at various UC schools over the proposed fee hikes.

Thats probably because these people find it easier to ridicule the opposite party than to try and talk about something their party has actually done.

If you can ridicule something, you don't have to think or even stand for anything.
 
So now it's ok to protest and throw fire bombs at PEOPLES HOMES..

yet how many threads were posted about the tea party protesters??????

but it seems because these protesters were more than likely "lefties", protesting is all of a sudden a NON story...LOL

whenever there is an incident at a abortion clinic it is BLAMED on some right wing religious extremist, the tea party protesters were called white conservatives teabaggers..I could go on but I won't..
most of Berzerkly is full of lefty commies so it was more than likely the "students" were LEFTIES...
the liberals don't have a problem labeling people until it comes to ones from their side..
