Psychopathy:where is it concentrated in society

they think it's strength and leadership. "willingness to make the hard decisions" they say. its the same bullshit t.a gardner is on about it not being "always bad".

Not quite. The successful psychopath is someone who's driven to succeed. They're willing to step on other people to get ahead. These are the sort anyone else finds abrasive and even intimating. Elon Musk is like that, for example.

I know a couple of people like this. One is the CEO of this company: https://www.hydronalix.com/ I've known the guy since high school. I wouldn't work for him on a bet. But he is definitely driven to succeed and makes bank doing it. He will trample you in the dust to get ahead. That's just how he is.

That doesn't make him evil or bad, just driven and having a different set of values than most other people. These are people that make things happen and move society as a whole forward.

trampling and destroying another person to succeed is indeed evil..............no excuses

California would certainly rate as the highest state, decades of ground water abuses. California has the Zodiac killer. the Manson family, and Sam Little. New York would have to next where political psychopaths regulate people like animals or cattle, of course they have Son of Sam and the list below shows the rest.

The sort that end up in prison destroy people and are evil. The sort that end up rich and powerful just use them. They're not evil, just harsh and greedy. They put a limit on their power even if they often have little limit on their greed. It is incumbent on others to recognize that sort and how they operate. My personal method of dealing with such people in a professional or business setting is to make my position / relationship with them bigger and wider than they are.

That way you become too valuable to get rid of, and to well positioned with others they can't treat you like a doormat. You end up being left alone so long as you get results when you do that.
