The World Professional Association for Transgender Health and the Endocrine Society recommend that transgender women follow the same prostate cancer screening guidelines as cisgender men. This includes annual prostate evaluations with a digital rectal exam (DRE) and a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) measurement.
