Acknowledging the truth would mean racist whites would have to feel compassion for others. They would actually have to get off their privileged asses and be apart of something, feel guilt. It is easier to falsify oppression than be authentic.
 
Watching it live. KKK has dispersed(police declared it an unlawful assembly). They bused in antifa, and they started getting violent, and they have refused to disperse. Some confusion as to who started lobbing tear gas first, the klan or antifa. Personally, I would have cut loose just hearing "ANTIFA!", but that's just me. All over a statue of a sad, reluctant warrior. At least they didn't destroy stuff. Ya know, I'm all for tearing down these confederate statues. Let's erase the confederacy from our history. And slavery, that was ugly too. Let's erase all history of that too. Win/win. NOBODY gets offended.
