The best thing to do when the Klan demonstrates is to ignore them. They're politically irrelevant as it is, ignoring them demonstrates just how irrelevant they are. But the Antifa types have been itching for a fight ever since the election.

So now they've had one and someone got killed. Trump is right in calling it 'hatred on many sides'.

Exactly! Why bother? I read they were expecting up to 3,000 people from around the country or some number like that. That is nothing. Let them rant and go home.

Everybody has their own interpretations of the constitution and government .. which still doesn't make them any smarter than anyone else given that much of what they think is wrong and often just seriously stupid.

Rights are determined by what you can demand .. period.

That may indeed be your thought of what's right for you .. but it is a long way from what I believe the best response is .. especially given that the Klan has little relevance or importance in today's society .. and they didn't get there by being ignored.

That still does not make the US a 'too free' anything. Sure there are worst paces to be, but that hardly means that anyone should stand down for injustice and hate.

The good news is that this is a fight the right will invariably lose. It's desperation time.
 
i am thrilled and excited to see this finally happening. Bring this truth out in the open where it belongs. white people are being faced with extinction by the negroes, muslimes and the self loathing white race traitors

and finally a showing of strength and unitedness on the part of these courageous white people.

I am not talking about that. That is something I like about this country more than anything. I am talking about the people that are here now, enjoying what freedoms we have, and bitching about it.

Republican lawmakers encourage Trump to specifically call out white nationalists

Republican lawmakers are encouraging President Trump to specifically call out the white nationalists involved in the violent protests in Charlottesville on Saturday.

“Mr. President - we must call evil by its name,” Colorado Republican Sen. Cory Gardner tweeted. “These were white supremacists and this was domestic terrorism.”

Trump didn’t single out the white nationalists when he addressed the unrest on Saturday evening. He blamed “many sides” for the violence.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides – on many sides,” the president said.

Other Republicans in Congress took issue with Trump's remarks.

“Very important for the nation to hear @potus describe events in #Charlottesville for what they are, a terror attack by #whitesupremacists,” tweeted Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

Another Florida Republican, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, tweeted that "White supremacists, Neo-Nazis and anti-Semites are the antithesis of our American values. There are no other ‘sides’ to hatred and bigotry.”
