While the radio stations conclusions are inflammatory, LiveScience is a good website. They link to actual studies. OTOH, I didn't find the IQ one.

From the other links, it's clear there are general differences between liberal and conservative minds. As this link notes, the relationship between IQ and political affiliation "is a complex one and not yet fully understood".
