Well, I won't argue with your study, but if it does increase jobs, those have to be paid for with something also. Where does the extra money come from? I've never said "pay them nothing" and not sure where you heard anyone say that. But increasing the minimum wage will have to increase prices of everything, there is no other real option, or at least no better option. The other two are, cutting jobs and printing more currency. None of these options will ultimately benefit society, and we know this because they haven't in the 40 years we've been trying it. We still have the exact same identical problem and situation, and you people clamoring for more of the same solution.
And here's the thing that really amazes me... If there really ARE examples of poor families trying to support themselves on the minimum wage, how is an extra crumb on the table going to help them, really? Aren't these 'examples' in the sort of dire straits that requires more than a $20-per-week token of our sympathy? Like maybe some kind of job training program or something? Oh wait... we already are providing that! Silly me!
