The latest plot twist is that Rand Paul was looking for a way to get out of going to the picnic, but he couldn't just "not attend" so he just claimed that he had been uninvited, thinking that everyone would happily believe that Trump is an unhinged fascist Hitler tyrant who pettily disinvited him because of a difference of opinion (i.e. exactly how a Democrat would behave).

I wish I could share your optimism. No. If any Republican was going to speak up it would have been when trump turned the military loose in American citizens or "outlawed" demonstrations during his tinpot dick-tater parade. We're going to be dealing with this extra-constitutional overreach and outright meanness for the next 3 years - longer if the trumptards figure out a way to skip the next presidential election - WHICH EVERYONE KNOWS IS IN THE WORKS!
 
What am I seeing here? Many liberals going over to side with the Libertarian/Republican Rand Paul. Say it ain't so.
My suggestion for Rand is that he joins the debunk Lincoln Project by switching over to become a democrat.

They'll take longer to break from Trump, but it's in happening. Trump is the type to keep pushing and pushing until he pushes too far.
