Rand Paul Doesn't Know How the Game Is Played

And that's not necessarily a bad thing, but his Uncle Mitch should probably talk to him so that this kind of thing doesn't happen again. He tweeted a short while ago:

Benghazi proves that Hilary Clinton should never hold high office again.

Dude, you're not supposed to talk about it. That's the first rule. I guess he's just taking his cues from Uncle Karl, whose PAC pushed this turd out:

But, yeah, this has nothing to do with politics and roughing up Clinton in advance of 2016.

I am sure Rand appreciates your concern and vast wealth of insight.

DH, Careful, I got vilified for pointing this out...and pointing out that this tactic was apt to bite the republicans in the butt in the long run. ;)

Rand is probably assuming that the final reports on Benghazi will attack the State Dept., so he is preemptively going after Hillary.

is this 'game' you speak of the one where we watch people in high appointed positions commit crimes and not get prosecuted for them because their high appointed positions?

He doesn't have to assume anything given that the whole point is to attack the State Department and Hillary. He just doesn't know that he not supposed to talk about it. At least not yet.

I'll bite. What are the crimes here and who committed them when?
mind you, since i'm firmly convinced that no prosecution of any crime will ever happen because of this, I haven't paid any attention to details, but I keep hearing about lies to congress from Hillary. maybe true, maybe not, but again my claim is still accurate no matter the 'scandal' or crime.

One thing I've learned in my years here is that Leaning is usually dead on correct.

rand is not too bright.

his turn driving the clown care is about up.

My mind is not yet made up about Paul, but I don't like his Texas, GWB, swagger.

I like that he appears to be a fly in the ointment, but is that just an act?

He is not humble, and I like humble in my presidents. He is also not a libertarian, not in any real sense, and I don't like that he pretends to be one.

Who was our last humble President?

Who was our last humble President?

Maybe Carter, it did not serve him well.

But Paul seems to carry that Texas arrogant swagger that is so the opposite of humble.

Its really a shallow cosmetic thing, but it bothers me. I guess it bothers me because it so often covers up a deep insecurity that leads to disasters like Iraq.

Do you know the ego it takes to think you are the most qualified person to lead 'the free world'? That is what you have to have to be President. It's not to say a President can't be humble but it's not exactly the place I would go looking for humbleness.

I understand your point. Its when they take to that swagger, that to me screams a deep insecurity, that gets me nervous.

I believe one can consider themselves the best for the job, while still being humble. I don't believe President Obama is humble, but he does not have an in your face, "I'm the decider." "Bring it on." mentality.

Beat me to it. I guess this means the 2016 election season is here!

That's incredibly stupid, but this is incredibly, stupendously stupid.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney met with House Republicans on Thursday morning, suggesting they may need to subpoena former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to get more answers on the deadly Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi, Libya.

"I think Hillary [Clinton] should be subpoenaed if necessary," Cheney said during the gathering, according to Fox News.

Since the Benghazi attack, Republicans have been hammering the Obama administration and arguing that Clinton and her inner circle engaged in a "cover-up" of what really happened. On Wednesday, they held a nearly six-hour-long hearing before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on the matter.

THIS FOOL IS SAYING HILLARY SHOULD BE SUBPOENED????

REALLY????

US Vice President Dick Cheney said he would likely refuse to testify before Congress if he is faced with a subpoena from the opposition Democratic party.

The Democrats say if they prevail in Tuesday's legislative elections they may launch investigations into past actions taken by President George W. Bush's administration, possibly even issuing subpoenas to compel prominent officials to testify.

Asked in a television interview if he would testify before Congress if he received a subpoena from lawmakers however, Cheney said it was unlikely he would comply, as it would break with American political tradition.

"I have no idea that I'm going to be subpoenaed, and obviously, we'd sit down and look at it at the time," he told ABC's "This Week".

"But probably not, in the sense that the president and the vice president are constitutional officers and don't appear before the Congress," Cheney said.

Cheney, known for his robust view of the executive branch's power, said it was not customary for the president or vice president to be compelled to testify before a congressional committee.

"I think that's been the tradition. I can't think of the last time a president did appear before the Congress, or a vice president," Cheney said.

Humility is underrated, especially in the male species. I find it a very redeeming quality.

I love humble people, I think it is a great quality. I'm saying don't look for it in the President of the United States.
