What I meant was that the inflation causes are now mostly NOT being caused by supply-side problems due to economic recovery from the Covid Depression.
But due to systemic weaknesses brought on by government lockdowns/Covid-19 meddling all over the world.
Which Powell - more or less - confirmed in the following:
'Generally, the higher prices we’re seeing are related to the supply and demand imbalances that can be traced directly back to the pandemic and the reopening of the economy,” he said. “But it’s also the case that price increases have spread much more broadly in the recent few months across the economy, and I think the risk of higher inflation has increased.”

'Powell expressed optimism that the widespread global supply chain bottlenecks that have contributed to rising inflation will ease later in 2022. However, he also acknowledged that lockdowns in China and other countries could worsen supply-chain problems, adding to inflationary risks.'

Plus, the fact remains that if governments had not done MASSIVE lockdowns that DIRECTLY caused the Covid Depression in the first place? This inflation would not be here.
2) finally, there is no factual evidence whatsoever that the lockdowns saved even one life.
