Rand Paul report on inflation, it's going to get worse!

No one yet, but the day is young.

It's funny how you think it's somehow partisan to make people wash their hands after taking a shit so they don't spread a disease, but well, here we are...

What's next, you gonna drink your own piss? Oh wait...

Strawman.

Where did I type that?

You keep making up these things but NEVER offer a shred of evidence to back them up.
Are you delusional or something?
Perhaps you need help from a healthcare professional?

OK Boomer.

I am not a 'Boomer' in either sense of the word.

I am an x-Gen.
And I do not like Red Bull-style products.

It is interesting how you just cannot stop making assumptions that make you - IMO - look rather delusional.

Have a nice day.

I simply clarified my point which I freely admit I did not state very well earlier.

The problem isn't HOW you conveyed your message, the problem is the message you conveyed.

That's why you had to redraw the parameters, move the goalposts, and flail about as you did.

Why is it you people can never manage to say what you mean the first time?

It's not like you're under some sort of clock to post...so you can take care and time to make sure what you're posting is accurate and thoughtful; but that is in direct conflict with the hyper-emotional and reactionary impulses you simply can't control!

And clearly - the fact that you openly wish for people to die in a painful way simply because you disagree with them on politics - makes you a rather emotionally unbalanced fellow/fellowess.

Washing your hands after you take a shit is not a political thing, so why are you making it one?

Sorry you do not understand what I clearly stated.
And I will leave it to others whom are bi-partisan to decide which of us is acting more 'hyper-emotional'.

And I am still waiting for you to point out where I stated that I am 'Conservative'?

Sorry...that is not precisely what Powell said in the article.

Yes it is, I quoted it in the source that you clearly didn't read.

That's why you then asked for a mulligan...

"Oh, that's not what I meant..."

Really? Cuz you had all the time in the world to articulate what you meant, but I guess you didn't because you're sloppy and not a hard worker.

So....

Wouldn't bang your head against this wall it's crazy. Needs mental help, and that is not a joke!

https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/rand-paul-report-rising-inflation

Sen. Paul blames the 7% spike in consumer prices – a 40-year high – on excessive coronavirus relief spending by Congress

That is interesting. Paul's claims make absolutely no sense based on when the spending occurred.

The relief spending by Congress ended before the inflation. Does that mean ending the spending caused the inflation? Should we do more spending to reduce inflation? Or is this just more evidence that Rand Paul is stupid and you are less intelligent than he is?

Perhaps you could show us all where Powell said 'precisely - word-for-word' that?

He literally said the root cause of it are supply-side issues.

Literally.

In what you linked to, but didn't quote.

It's weird...you linked to this one piece from the Post, but didn't actually quote Powell.

Then you moved those goalposts by saying "OK, what this really means is this..."

What? Who gave you that authority to speak for Powell and the Fed? No one.

Face it, dude...

Thanks for the warning.

And I think you are correct.

But I rather enjoy picking on trolls.
Especially ones like this nutcase whom actually wish death to people for political differences.

I did not ask that.

I said where is it in the article where he said EXACTLY what I typed?

Which you stated that is what he said 'precisely'?

BTW - he did not say what I typed 'precisely'.
So, I suggest you either admit it or move on to something else.

Where exactly did I ever call myself 'Conservative'?
I have never voted Dem or Rep in my life.
And I - almost certainly - never will.

I bet you think this is clever and insulates you from partisan criticism, but it doesn't.

By voting 3P (or not voting at all), you're supporting the Conservative fascist takeover of the US.

So you might as well vote your impulses and vote Republican because voting 3P (or not voting at all) has the same effect.

Stop.

Just stop.

We know this McRocket is a sock you created in Dec 2021 because you spent an entire year running your mouth under a different ID and got tired of people like me giving you shit for it.

Have you ever heard of feedback loops?

Not only have I heard of them. I have had to deal with them. Let me explain how it works. Once there is no longer any original sound (relief spending) then in short order there is no longer any feedback as it quickly dies out. The feedback doesn't continue for seconds or minutes or months after the original cause has ceased.

LMAO do you think this is believable?

And if you say "I don't care if you believe me", you're admitting to lying...because that's what liars say when their lies are confronted.

Here's how that conversation will go:

You: I am this thing I claim to be

Me: Prove it.

You: No.

Me: Then why should anyone believe you?

You: I don't care if you believe me.

This isn't my first rodeo with internet poseurs.

The Federal government is still running HUGE, monthly deficits.
https://www.fiscal.treasury.gov/files/reports-statements/mts/mts.pdf

So the government is still 'stimulating' the economy. Whether it calls it that or now.

I am not saying I agree with Rand Paul's assertions completely.
But I do agree with the basics of it.

And saying that the government macroeconomic stimuli is over is not correct.
And that is not even mentioning the Federal Reserve.

Wrong, actually.

The Fed says that the current inflation is no longer 'transitory' and is NOT mostly caused by 'supply' issues.

https://nypost.com/2021/11/30/jerome-powell-its-time-to-retire-term-transitory-inflation/

Have a nice day.
Powell explained that while the word has “different meanings to different people,” the Federal Reserve “tend to use it to mean that it won’t leave a permanent mark in the form of higher inflation.

“I think it’s — it’s probably a good time to retire that word and try to explain more clearly what we mean,” Powell added.

“I think what we missed about inflation,” Powell responded, “was we didn’t predict the supply-side problems, and those are highly unusual and very difficult, very non-linear, and it’s really hard to predict those things, but that’s really what we missed, and that’s why all of the professional forecasters had much lower inflation projections.

Despite his attempt to blame high prices on supply chain backlogs — as opposed to stimulus money driving the devaluation of the dollar — Powell did admit that the overall “risk of higher inflation has increased.”

It seems the Fed didn't say what you claimed they said. In fact they clearly said the opposite of your claim.

Sorry you do not understand what I clearly stated.

The problem is that you DIDN'T clearly state it, and then had to spend all this time retconning what you said to fit it within the narrow parameters of the dumb argument you were making.

So you lost the throughline of your argument and you bored the shit out of everyone by making it about your inability to clearly articulate your points.

It's not like it's a hard thing to do...

You even said yourself that you weren't articulate and had to further explain yourself; but then when you did, you contradicted everything you had said about yourself originally.

So you're just running us in circles because you can't seem to get your shit together.

And I will leave it to others whom are bi-partisan to decide which of us is acting more 'hyper-emotional'.

You said one thing, then posted a source that said the opposite, then you tried to redefine what the source said, and when that failed, you tried to redefine what YOU SAID.

Do those sound like the actions of an emotionally balanced person? Not to me.
