To me cheering over polls in August is like yelling 'Scoreboard' in the first quarter of a football game. Wait until after Labor Day and the conventions and then start cheering. Right now its just mental masturbation.
The correct citation for an incomplete post is "frequently right..." That way, you can murder the context, but allow for the reader to know it's an incomplete quote, you arrogant fucking bastard.
Do the lacking three dots change the context? Do readers here really need to see the rest of your sentence in order to know that you were making an asinine assertion?
