He may not want to. He's been known to feint and bluff the left before.

Maybe these initial nominees are stalking horses.

Why would anyone suspect that?

Many of Trump's first-round picks share some common characteristics.

Obviously, Democrats will try to oppose whoever he proposes, and he could be playing the long game to draw them out so he can use their own arguments against them if he has alternative nominees he'll produce after Congress is in session again...

Several who've been victimized by Democrats and unelected bureaucrats drunk with power have now been nominated to be put...

C'mon, you know trump doesn't have the brains or attention span to create a feint and bluff. At least give credit to the poor sap who actually conceived the idea and sold it to trump. :nodyes:

I don't know where to begin.

Slander is an untrue defamatory statement that is spoken orally. It's a civil matter. Nobody goes to jail for slander.

President Trump has suffered no loss of reputation or suffered monetary loss as a result of Brad's silly attempt at false equivalence.

President Trump is also a public figure, so the threshold is a bit higher.

Slander is a criminal offense, punishable by jail time, when it involves national security.

Trump is no longer just a U.S. Citizen. He is President Elect. Slander against the President, which includes Russia, a nation we are in a proxy war with, and might escalate to a nuclear war, is a threat to national security.

Who told you that?

The Sedition Act of 1798 made it a crime to print anything false about the government, president, or Congress.

The Supreme Court later modified this when it enacted the rule that a statement against a public figure is libel only if it known to be false or the speaker had a reckless disregard for the truth when making it.

Trump is not the government, president (yet), or Congress.
