What do you think Romney would do in his first 100 days to improve your country? It has to be a guess because he has no idea himself. 100 days OK?

Actually, someone joked the other day that his "Day 1" calendar was filling up. He's said a LOT of things he is going to do on "Day 1" including issuing an executive order to give all 50 states a waiver on Obamacare. He also plans (on Day 1) to order the elimination of all Obama-era regulations which hamper or affect the economy and jobs. Also, to order the Interior Dept. to lift all Obama-era restrictions on oil/energy production. He will direct the Dept. of Treasury to list China as a currency manipulator and the Dept. of Commerce to implement countervailing duties on Chinese imports, if it doesn't quicky float its currency. Also, he will reverse the Obama-era orders which tilt the playing field in favor of labor unions on government contracts.

This is all for DAY 1... he has other plans as well. Do you have about 3 hrs for me to go through all of them? If not, you can find out more HERE.

I was going to say. I couldn't remember all the things you listed but when reading the question of what he would do in his first 100 days I thought to myself 'based on what he's said on the campaign trail he's going to have a hell of a day one'.

Enough very good reasons to consign him to the scrap heap of politics.
Does ANYONE in america understand foreign affairs? He is going to do WHAT with China? Excuse me? China owns your asses young man. And with extra duties on Chinese imports I guess yanks who, you must admit, love their jeans, will suddenly be seen herding cattle (or their women under this bloody idiot) in their skivvys cos they can no longer afford to buy anything made of denim! Can't wait.

As for the debt America owes China, it is unrelated to trade and trade policy with China. You see, Gov. Romney won't need to be coming to the Chinese with hat in hand, asking for another trillion dollars to fund a social welfare state, because he plans to make budget cuts and bring our debt situation under control. Therefore, we won't really be giving a shit what the Chinese think of our trade policy.

I'd be considerably more worried about what to do with myself when China's economy completely implodes, and less worried about how "Mittens" will conduct his foreign policy toward China. One is going to hurt a lot more than the other...

I could always do a collage of the faces of every victim in Grade B slasher films at the moment they realize they've spoken all the lines they're going to utter on screen and use it as inspiration for imagining her face on election night......
 
The Electoral map certainly is changing. I think Pennsylvania is in play,and Ohio is basically tied. A sitting President shouldnt be tied or losing in the majority of polls. Thats truly bad news for Obama. I think the GOP voting enthusiasm & participation will outdo the dems,and I think independents will break for Romney, which is why I have been saying all along, Romney will win by a strong margin.

I predict many of the Republicans on this board will be severly disappointed, and the Democrats will be very pleased. Though most will not admit it.

Fascinating. If the Democrats lose they'll be happy and the republicans will be disappointed.

While I agree many Rs will be disappointed over time (specifically the people who think that the Bible is the only issue to vote on), I disagree that the Ds will be thrilled about Romney and just not admitting it.

Romney is a business republican. The best kind of republican. He's not an ultra religious bible belter (and honestly probably secretly hates them because the bible belters shit on mormons all the time), he probably is conservative on a lot of social issues but not motivated enough to fight to those ends. More like, if some social conservative thing is passed, he'll say "great" but won't go out of his way for it.
