They can be but ironically or interestingly women can also vote for people they hate. That was illustrated in Virginia when Ken Cuccinelli ran for governor. He lost, but he well over-performed his polling with women who otherwise saw him as the antichrist because of his position basically that the state could make women have a weedeater stuck up in them if it wanted before they could have an abortion.
