Ready to join the NRA

So why did it take so long for me to get a CCL?

Fuck the NRA ...

I got mine 35 years ago. No problem, got it in less than half an hour after I applied and renew it every 5 yrs.
I asked before, you mentioned taking classes, were they taught by NRA Certified Firearm Instructors?
Why do you despise the NRA? You do know the NRA supported many firearm restrictions over the years
until we realized those restrictions didn't stop the criminal use of firearms, don't you?

Illinois had to be dragged kicking and screaming to issue CCLs

I have never had much interest in guns, even though I am a righty. Never owned a gun, but have been considering buying one during the last several years. I sense the constant threat against my second amendment rights, so I often feel the urge to get set up with guns and ammo while I still can.

Even though I have never, and do not currently own a gun, I have been considering joining the NRA as a first step. My interest in guns and the NRA is not connected to some kind of passion for guns, just a passion for my rights.

While you still can? Yeah, I can see where you are coming from. You want to buy a gun so Hillary can't confiscate it. So many guns have been confiscated . I see why you are afraid of losing the guns you don't have. You do know you can buy one don't you? Hell, you can buy an arsenal of guns.

Confiscation would be a problem and all, but my more immediate concern is that the left could successfully ban the AR 15, or at least block new purchases. This is what I am referring to when I say "while I still can".

Get your bump stocks, the left might stop you from your right to a real automatic weapon. You need a real automatic. Can you imagine life without one? How are you getting by now? Must be terrifying.

Pure fucking comedy gold, man!

I suggest you invest in guns if you actually have a genuine passion or interest in it.....e.g., my father had a keen interest in World War Two military vintage weaponery, having collected some M-1 carbines and surplus Russian military pistols. I gotta admit, that shit was pretty cool!

In my opinion, that last thing you want to do is be a tool - a mark - duped into lining the pockets of corporate gun manufactures because you feel an obligation to be a lame wingman for the dupes who either spread rightwing propaganda... or who are literally to stupid to recognize it as the rightwing horseshit agitprop that it is.

Bump stocks do not make a automatic.

Congratulations! More guns are helping make America great again.
