reality of the best hope for our country

Realistically speaking your candidates with any hope of winning are:
Hillary
Obama
Edwards
Guliani
Mccain
Romney

Now look at the list and pick the best candidate from each party.. not best at beating the other side.. but one that would actually be best for the country.

Reality does not like us very much.

Um...you really want someone that believes the Garden of Eden was in Missouri and that when he dies he will become god of his own planet in the White House?

I mean, if he can be convinced of that, what can't he be convinced of?
Don't forget the people on the moon. Really.

No more silly than beliving that Noah built an ark and put two of every animal in it and thats how they survived a world wide flood.

No more silly than beliveing that woman was created from the rib of Adam.

No more silly than believing lots of religous fantacy!

That he believes too.

However believing in 14 ft tall giants on the moon in gray business suits is a bit off even for those who believe in Noah.

Mormons today constantly try to say it was "allegorical" when he said that. I read it again and again and found no words that would give any hint that it was supposedly "allegorical".

I totally agree with this. People say religion should have no place in who you vote for but it does point to gullibility and intelligence.

I can understand how some people can believe in a fairy tale thousands of years old that has been passed down for many generations.

I cannot understand how someone could believe in a ridiculous religion created around 200 years ago. Just read the book of mormon, it is great for a laugh. While you are at it, read what they thought of black people. Better yet just watch the South Park episode...it is actually mostly accurate.
